Trade Republic API: get your data and reuse it
No API for retail customers, but a complete export that other tools can read.
Updated 4 November 2026
Trade Republic does not publish an API for its customers: as of 4 November 2026, we know of no public documentation and no API key. The intended way to get all your transactions is the CSV export, available in the app and on app.traderepublic.com. The file opens in any spreadsheet and imports into several portfolio trackers, without giving your login to anyone.
Is there a Trade Republic API?
No official API for retail customers. The libraries you find by searching "trade republic api python" or on GitHub are unofficial projects: they sign in to your account the way the app does, and for that they need your phone number and your PIN. Trade Republic does not publish them and does not vouch for them.
The CSV export, the intended route
You create the transaction export from Profile › Account statements › Transaction export, in the app as on app.traderepublic.com. Choose the longest period: the steps are in the export guide.
The file has one row per transaction: purchases and sales, dividends, interest, transfers, card payments, Saveback, with the date, the amount, fees and tax withheld. The columns are explained on open the export in Excel.
Import the export into another tool
- NokxiStats
- Performance, deposits, dividends, interest, spending by category and Saveback, calculated in your browser: the file is not sent anywhere. See the demo.
- Parqet
- Accepts Trade Republic's CSV export: you drag the file into your portfolio. According to its help, the import covers purchases, sales, dividends, interest, deposits and withdrawals, card payments, Saveback and crypto, but not stock splits or spin-offs (Parqet help, in German).
- getquin
- Has a file import dedicated to Trade Republic's CSV export: Investments, choose Trade Republic, then File Import (getquin help).
- Portfolio Performance
- Free desktop software. It reads PDF documents from more than 90 banks and brokers (try a Trade Republic PDF to see whether it is recognised) and imports CSV files, mapping each column. Its help does not mention Trade Republic's CSV export (PDF import, CSV import).
- YNAB
- For budgeting: accepts CSV files, its recommended format, as well as OFX, QFX and QIF, dragged into the app (YNAB help). Trade Republic's export has more columns than a bank statement: check the preview before you confirm.
- Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice
- Separator, decimals and columns to set: see open the export in Excel.
These tools change how their imports work: their own help is authoritative. NokxiStats has no link with them.
Tools that ask for your login
An automatic sync or an unofficial library signs in to Trade Republic with your phone number and PIN. Parqet, for example, offers such a sync alongside its file import. That number and PIN open access to your account: before handing them to a third-party program, ask yourself what it does with them. An exported file contains no login or PIN, and cannot place any order.
Frequently asked questions
Does Trade Republic have an official API?
Not for retail customers, as far as we know on 4 November 2026: no public documentation, no API key. The CSV transaction export is the intended way to get your data.
Can Trade Republic be connected to an AI assistant?
There is no official connector that we know of; an unofficial one would need the same login. An export holds no login, but it describes all your transactions: you decide whom you trust with it.
Are dividends and interest in the export?
Yes, one row per payment, with the tax withheld in its own column. See dividends received and interest received.
Do I need a NokxiStats account?
No. The file opens in your browser, with no account, and nothing is sent.
