Trade Republic savings plan calculator: what your plan could grow to
Your monthly amount, a period, an assumed return, and Saveback if you want it.
Updated 4 November 2026
€100 invested every month for 10 years adds up to €12,000 paid in. With an assumed return of 5% a year, the plan would be worth about €15,500 at the end, of which €3,500 is gain. With Saveback on €1,000 of card payments a month, another €1,190 is invested and the total comes close to €17,000. These are assumptions: no market return is guaranteed.
The calculator
A constant return is assumed, with no fees, tax or inflation: an illustration, not a forecast. Nothing is sent: everything is calculated in your browser.
Saveback in the plan
Trade Republic's Saveback invests 1% of your eligible card payments for you, up to €15 a month (reached at €1,500 of payments), provided you invest at least €50 a month through savings plans. A month's amount is invested the following month. The calculator adds it with that delay; it does not count payments made with crypto, which earn 2%. Details and your real amounts: Saveback.
A worked example
- €100 a month for 10 years at 5% a year: €12,000 paid in, an estimated €15,499 at the end.
- The same plan for 20 years: €24,000 paid in, an estimated €40,746.
- 10 years with Saveback on €1,000 of card payments a month: €1,190 of Saveback, an estimated €17,033.
- 10 years at 0%: €12,000, exactly what you paid in.
Time matters a lot: going from 10 to 20 years makes the estimated gain almost five times larger (€3,499, then €16,746), because gains earn gains in turn.
How it is calculated
- The starting amount is invested in the first month.
- At the start of every month, the plan amount is added, together with the previous month's Saveback.
- Everything grows at the monthly rate equivalent to the chosen annual return: 12 months at that rate give the annual return.
- The estimated gain is the final value minus your deposits and the Saveback.
What the calculator does not tell you
- A market return is neither constant nor guaranteed: it changes from year to year and can be negative. Try several assumptions, including 0%.
- Possible fees, tax and inflation are not counted: they depend on the product, your country and your situation.
- This page is not investment advice.
Your actual deposits
For a plan that is already running, Trade Republic's CSV export gives the real figures: what you paid in (track your deposits) and your portfolio's real return (portfolio performance). For money left on the cash account, see the interest calculator.
