Get your Trade Republic CSV export

The official CSV file of your transactions, from a computer or your phone.

Trade Republic lets you export all your transactions as a CSV file: security purchases and sales, dividends, card payments, transfers, interest and Saveback. That file, and only that file, is what this site analyses.

This site will never ask for your Trade Republic login details (phone number, PIN, code sent by text). You download the export yourself, from Trade Republic, then drop it here.

The file you need

A file named transactions_YYYY-MM-DD_YYYY-MM-DD.csv, the two dates being the start and end of the period you chose. Choose the widest period possible, from the day you opened your account: without the full history, the average cost of your securities and your returns would be wrong.

From a web browser

On a computer (Windows, Mac, Linux), with Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari.

  1. Open app.traderepublic.com and log in (phone number, PIN, then confirmation on your phone).
  2. Open your Profile, then the statements section:
    • Profile
    • Account statements
    • Transaction export
  3. Choose the period: from the first day of your account until today.
  4. Click Create, then download the file. It lands in your Downloads folder.

From the app

On iPhone or Android, with an up-to-date Trade Republic app.

  1. Tap the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
  2. Follow the path:
    • Account statements
    • Transaction export
  3. Select the widest period, then tap Create.
  4. Tap Download or Share: save the file to Files (iPhone) or Downloads (Android), or send it to yourself on your computer.

The labels may differ slightly depending on the app version and the language you use. If the web version does not show the transaction export yet, use the app: it has been available there since April 2026.

Import it here

  1. Open the dashboard, on your computer or directly on your phone.
  2. Drag the file onto the drop area, or click Choose files.
  3. If you want to find your data again on your next visit, tick Remember on this device: it stays in this browser, and Clear everything deletes it at any time.

You can drop several exports at once, for example an older export and a recent one that overlap: transactions that appear in both are only counted once.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file sent anywhere?

No. It is read by your browser, on your device. Only security identifiers (ISIN, ticker) are sent to this site, to fetch market prices. The details, and how to check them yourself, are on the Privacy page.

Can I open the CSV in Excel?

Yes, but do not save it afterwards before dropping it here: Excel and Numbers change the separators and the date format, and the file is no longer recognised. To look at it in Excel without breaking it, use DataFrom Text/CSV and keep the original file untouched. The Spending and income tab can also export your transactions, with their categories, as a CSV that opens directly in Excel.

“Missing columns” or “not a transaction export”

The file you dropped is not the CSV transaction export: a PDF statement, a securities statement, or a CSV opened then saved again by Excel or Numbers, which changes the separators. Download the export again and drop it without opening it.

“Negative quantity” or a strange average cost

A purchase is missing: the export period does not start early enough. Export again from the day you opened your account, or add the export for the previous period.

Transfers from my bank are counted as income

In the Spending and income tab, Income block, tick My accounts next to your name: these transfers are then treated as moves between your own accounts, not as income.

Why is this payment in that category?

The category comes from the MCC code the merchant declared to its bank (restaurant, transport, hotel…). Every bank uses this code; it is reliable overall but not infallible.

I have no investment transactions

No problem: if your export only contains payments and transfers, only the Spending and income tab is shown.
